Hardly any triplet pregnancy reaches this far. If yours has, your care team is watching closely and cheering just as hard — delivery is likely any moment now.
Three little wonders this week
- Their brains are busy forming an almost unbelievable number of new connections every single second.
- All three now have a proper grasp reflex and will curl tiny fingers around yours the moment they meet you.
- Each umbilical cord has grown long and sturdy, thick as a finger — a lifeline well used.
The triplet twist
Your placentas are watched much more closely here than they would be in a singleton pregnancy, since three sharing one uterine wall tend to reach their limits sooner. If fluid or growth slows, that's usually the cue to meet your three.
