What's happening this week
From here, most of what's left is simply growing bigger and getting the finishing touches right — kidneys are fully up and running, and little livers can now handle some waste on their own.
There is truly no spare inch left in there. Your three are pressed close together, curled around one another like they're sharing a very small, very warm blanket.
Three little wonders this week
- Their brains still have real growing to do — roughly a third more size to go before the finish line, which is the best reason to hold on for every extra day you can.
- All three have shed nearly all their downy fuzz, leaving smooth, pink, ready-for-cuddles skin.
- Together they now weigh as much as a solidly-sized toddler, which is exactly why lying flat feels nearly impossible these days.
The triplet twist
Making it to 35 weeks with triplets puts you in rare and wonderful company. Babies born now rarely need any breathing help and often skip a nursery stay altogether.
Something to look forward to
- Delivery is likely within the next 1 to 3 weeks.
- 2 weeks until 37 weeks, full term when you're carrying more than one.
