What's happening this week
Eyebrows and eyelids are complete, and three tiny tongues are fully formed. Each baby is settling into its own rough sleeping and waking pattern — though good luck getting all three to agree on a schedule.
One might go quiet while another turns somersaults, and the third tends to keep tucked out of the way like the peacemaker of the group. Three separate rhythms, all happening at once inside you.
Three little wonders this week
- The length measurement jumps this week simply because it now stretches head to heel instead of just head to bottom.
- Bone marrow has fully taken over the job of making red blood cells for all three.
- Each one sleeps for long stretches most of the day — often exactly while you're up and moving around.
The triplet twist
Counting individual kicks gets tricky with three babies tangled together, so instead of formal kick counts, you'll get to know each one's favourite spot and usual pattern of movement.
Something to look forward to

- Around 11 weeks until 32 weeks, a date many triplet families like to keep in mind for planning.
