What's happening this week
Little reflexes are switching on — a gentle press on your belly and all three would squirm away from it if they could feel it yet. Tiny tummies are practising the squeeze that will one day move milk along.
The trickiest early stretch is largely behind you now. This is often the week triplet parents finally let out a breath they didn't know they were holding — and start telling the world there are three.
Three little wonders this week
- Tiny bone marrow is taking over the job of making blood cells in all three now.
- A little gland in each brain has started making hormones of its own — busy work for such small heads.
- Their intestines are settling properly into their tummies, right where they belong.
The triplet twist
The odds of everything going smoothly improve a lot after this point for any pregnancy — with triplets, the focus simply shifts a little, to keeping a gentle eye on how evenly your three are growing and giving them all the best runway toward a healthy birth.
Something to look forward to
- You're about 4 weeks from possibly feeling that first little flutter.
- Roughly 6–8 weeks until the scan where you might learn who's a boy and who's a girl.
- Cervical length checks usually start around week 16, just as a gentle extra bit of care.
To Mom:
Reaching this milestone with three on board is a moment to truly celebrate and breathe a little easier. You are a wonderful home for your three growing limes, and they are thriving because of you.
